State Bar’s Los Angeles Office is Moving
FRANCISCO, Dec. 17 – The Los Angeles offices of the State Bar of California and State Bar Court will be moving to 845 S. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90017-2515 on Jan. 6.
Starting Dec. 23, the offices and courtrooms at 1149 S. Hill St. will be closed to the public and callers may encounter temporary phone service interruptions when trying to reach State Bar employees in Los Angeles. Mail will be received at both addresses during the transition.
The State Bar’s offices and State Bar Court at 180 Howard St. in San Francisco will remain open during normal business hours. Callers may reach the State Bar at the main number, 415-538-2000. Information for the public is also available on the State Bar’s website.
State Bar of California is an administrative arm of the California Supreme
Court, serving the public and seeking to improve the justice system for more
than 80 years. All lawyers practicing law in California must be members of the
State Bar. By December 2013, membership reached 245,000.
