• Special Master Application Form

Special Masters, who are volunteers, are appointed by the courts and must be active members of the State Bar in good standing for at least 5 years.

By statute, Special Masters are selected from a list of qualified attorneys maintained by the State Bar. This list is provided to the courts and prosecutors in the event that the services of a Special Master are required.

• Special Master Search Summary Form

Special Masters should submit a Search Summary Form to the State Bar each time a search is performed. DO NOT provide specific information such as parties searched on the Search Summary Form.
