Sarah Good is an attorney member of the State Bar of California Board of Trustees, appointed by the California Supreme Court in 2023.
Ms. Good is a litigation partner and the Chief Talent and Inclusion Officer with Farella Braun + Martel LLP in San Francisco. She has over 30 years of experience in complex commercial, consumer and securities litigation matters. Ms. Good has represented companies, as well as their officers and directors, in over 100 securities class actions, derivative litigation and governmental investigations, and litigation. She has served as independent outside counsel and advised boards of directors, audit committees, executives, and a university in over 30 internal investigations into a wide range of allegations of misconduct in the U.S. and abroad. Ms. Good also has defended over 30 consumer fraud class actions, private attorney general actions, and investigations initiated by the Attorney General’s Office concerning unfair competition, false advertising, products liability, and fraud.
Ms. Good is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, and the Bar Association of San Francisco. She serves on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Court Appointed Special Advocates (SFCASA) and is a member of the National Association for Law Placement’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion Standing Committee.
Ms. Good’s service to the State Bar previously included serving on the Council on Access and Fairness and the Ad Hoc Commission on the Discipline System.
Ms. Good received her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Princeton University.
